After the fabulous Pride and Prejudice and Zombies , I decided to purchase this book for my Kindle I wish I hadn t wasted my money The story of Emma is still there in all its Oh dear Lord, someone slap that girl glory, but the addition of the werewolves doesn t make the story delightfully bizarre, as in P P Z Rather, when is IS mentioned, it seems ridiculous and forced and after Mr Knightley werewolf slayer kills the weird demon werewolf thing in part two of three parts , there is not so much as one mention of werewolves for the entire rest of the story I am most displeased that the person who will be getting royalties for this book is getting so much as a dime of my hard earned money The only reason it gets two stars is because the character of Emma is still just as irritating as ever Don t Waste Your Money Or time, for that matter.

Not as good as Pride Prejudice Zombies, basically just Emma not my favourite Austen novel at the best of times with some random lycanthropy thrown in I really cannot think of any reason why I would recommend this to anyone disappointed.

This book was almost painful to read Adam Rann s rewriting of Emma was cumbersome, and lacked the wit of Jane Austen s original The werewolf plotline was almost nonexistant, and what was included was insipid I d give it one star, but for the original bits of Jane Austen that remain.

    Who buys this crap anyway

  5. says:

Too much Austen, not enough lycanthropy.
