I have never been enchanted by a kid s craft book before opening the pages of this one It s a perfect book for children of all ages with adult help when necessary for adults who are still young at heart The book is loaded with crafts the teacher inside me squeals with delight to see that some crafts require that the child use mathematics I m equally as thrilled to see the book loaded with accurate mythology Witches the real variety will appreciate the legitimate mythologies and ideas behind what is presented as entirely make believe Those who see it as simple fantasy will appreciate the creative art projects and fun filled science experiments There are full color diagrams and clear how to instructions on every page It s inspired me to try every single one of the projects The child in me will have so much fun the teacher in me will be prepared if when I present any of these projects to children in the future There are a LOT of great ideas I ll let you know how they turn out.

I really liked it, it had a whole bunch of experiments and ideas that I tried and succeeded at Just for you to know, it isn t a chapter book, it is of a craft book that tells you how to make things related to wizardry, like how to make unicorn horns , clay twisted and hardened to look like a unicorn horn, and a wizard s cloak It had a cooler thins but that was one that was easier to explain.

The Book of Wizard Craft In Which the Apprentice Finds Spells Potions Fantastic Tales 50 Enchanting Things to Make is an imaginative arts crafts book geared towards children Its themes are all about wizards, witches, and magic, of course, and it provides many fun activities to do It gives details on how to become a real wizard or witch, starting off with making the proper attire, and moves on to room decorations, gardening, alchemy, astronomy, and throwing fabulously magical parties, just to name a few things It s presented as an old wizard s ultimate guide to becoming a wizard witch The book itself looks incredibly amazing, with lots of detailed and atmospheric illustrations Every single page looks different thanks to the use of variations in background colours, patterns, etc It has a very magical yet homey feel thanks to the ink splotches, tea stains, and other various imperfections scattering the pages. The projects and activities in it are quite varied, too, and range from reading tea leaves to baking spooky cookies from making crystal ball lamps to putting together castles for the toads in the garden Or what about pumpkin shakes, and mouldy gardens in jars to decorate your table with Not to mention your own magical wizard robes, flying carpets, and pavilions for fairies It s all there, and as I said before, very imaginative and fun.In between all the interesting projects are also stories straight from the old wizard himself, in which he recounts magical legends, speaks about mythology, and even covers ghost stories about haunted mansions and castles This can provide a perhaps well needed break with all that crafting going on, and they re short and light hearted stories to read.I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this amazingly wonderful book, except perhaps a bit of a warning for someone looking to purchase this for a small child Children will probably need the help of an adult for most of the projects detailed in this, so know that you ll also be spending quite some time doing arts crafts if you re looking to purchase this as a gift. This book can be recommended to anyone who enjoys doing arts crafts, especially with a magical theme to it, be they children or adults Though I ve gotten this book as a child, I still very much enjoy making things from it.

Such a cute craft book It is filled with mythology in between the different wizard themed crafts Very few of the crafts cannot realistically be done by a child alone, though.
