I found this book to be very interesteing in explaining polygamy using mostly interviews, previously studies, and data collected from the government and the church Some beliefs I had like there weren t enough men were proven wrong while others given by the church at the time I didn t even know about were explained I m not ready to live it but I really enjoyed learning abou the social and psychological aspects of it.

I debated giving it three stars because it was interesting the information was taken from a variety of sources and I liked the snippets of interviews I learned something about how polygamy was presented by church members at the time, which I found interesting.

Really good primary source analysis in this book Would have liked a varied narrative and a little depth in the writing Really well researched.
