In this volume, the team is attacked by giant spiders I absolutely hate spidies, but the good thing is they aren t drawn really clearly or detailed so it didn t trigger my phobia They are assisted by Lini, a gnome druid, and she is adorable, as even Merisiel remarks. There s one thing I disliked about this volume After Merisiel the elf and Valeros the human fighter were set up as potential romantic interests, they decided instead that Kyra should begin to express an interest in Merisiel I really, really dislike Kyra As a cleric she is wholly devoted to her goddess, but instead of just sticking to her prayers she goes overkill about judging everyone else s sins And it really seems hypocritical, to me, for her to judge Valeros harshly for drinking and womanizing, but she gives Merisiel a free pass for doing the EXACT SAME THINGS just because she has a crush I do not like her at all I am happy for LGBT representation, butwhy HER lol
