Oh, now seriously, I am a person who avoids the kitchen the way arachnophobes avoid spiders But having become Vegetarian a year ago, and now looking to go completely Vegan I found these on a local cafe website, and I have never drooled over cookbooks, the way I do with both the first and this 2 The Revive Cafe Cookbook Jeremy has truly created a miracle, as I am actually EXCITED about the thought of cooking these recipes Accessible, easy, and truly delicious These recipes not only revive the tastebuds and my sense of wellbeing, but have literally given birth to a whole new experience for me the pleasure of cooking These are truly 2 of the most inspiring and delicious cookbooks I have ever seen in my life.

Jeremy Dixon the founder of the health focused Revive cafes found in Auckland CBD has created a great series of cookbooks for even the most basic level chef Inspired by a 10 day health retreat he converted to a healthy lifestyle including fueling with feel good food and desire of sharing this with others in order to sustain a better life with vitality What s great is that these recipes are actually simple and still flavourful with an abundance of spices and great ingredients Also, there are clear recurrent ingredients so you aren t buying obscure ingredients that you use once and then never again A great range too including salads, hotpot stirfries, mains, soups etc.A fan of the little recipe intros above the title and little boxes at the bottom with ingredient and cooking tips both interesting and useful A huge fan of the mix and match recipe flowcharts at the end including soupsbreakfastfrittatasdipslasagnesOverall a truly great overarching philosophy and one to aspire to Side note Inspired to return to the cafe but to actually make it at home. Thanks Dixon

I bought this book on a trip to Auckland in December I have now bought multiple copies for friends and recommended it to countless others It s fantastic I wanted to become vegetarian for a while but didn t know what foods I to eat apart from boring dry stir fries bland food This book has been an inspiration The recipes are really vibrant and tasty I m amazed at how little ingredients we need to put a fresh dinner on the table We ve also cooked for non vegetarian they are the types of recipes that our friends did not even realise were vegetarian. Can t recommend this book highly enough
